DBI - Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology has two modern and very flexible furnaces, where we offer tests on constructions and construction elements. More than 125 customer and research tests are carried out each year.
The procedures involved during testing are optimised so that our customers experience a minimum of wasted time in the laboratory. For instance, for us it is normal for fire testing of a door, including assembly, to be carried out within a single working day.
Using our standard equipment, we are able to test specimens with a span of 6 m and a width of 3 m horizontally. Vertical test specimens can be tested at a height of 4.5 m and a width of 3 m. We are able to test A-class divisions in dimensions up till 3.18 x 3.18 meters.
Test specimens can either be loaded or unloaded.
