The Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology (DBI) works to save lives and assets for public and private companies. We do this primarily by offering high-quality services in consultation, testing, inspection, quality assurance and course and publication activities in the areas of fire and security.

We want our customers to trust DBI as an independent and professionally competent business partner. DBI’s work is to contribute to creating security on an optimal foundation and to help customers ensure that legal requirements and guidelines are met. This way, customers can free up resources and acquire services and knowledge that allow them to make appropriate decisions, achieve results and create added value.

In order to be able to provide these services, DBI is working to maintain and develop both skills and the service organisation. In that context we continuously focus on both customers and employees – two parties that are absolutely decisive in DBI’s work.

In DBI’s 2007 intellectual capital report, we have taken a closer look at customers’ needs and opinions and staff’s skills and development.
